The first participant to be announced for this summers Air Tattoo was revealed yesterday.

The famous Thursday announcements kicked off with a beauty. The EAV-8B Harrier II Plus will be flying and hovering in the skies above RAF Fairford this summer. In 2018 the Spanish Harriers attended FIA18, to be honest it was a real crowd favorite. The Crew which are part of 9 Squadron are based at Rota Naval Base. The Spanish Harrier last graced the Fairford skies in 1994. It has being 9 years since the last display by a Harrier at RIAT. The RAF Harrier GR.9 model was the last to preform before retirement. So this summer we will be enjoying the sight of the original "jump jet" alongside modern aviation.
